Paradise Day One and Two

Cruise Day #1 -- Florida

The vacation definitely started off to a crazy beginning. The ship left from Miami, Florida and we thought we were going to miss the boat. Somehow, we got the times wrong and thought we couldn't board until 2. Turns out you had to be there by 2. But we ended up getting there in plenty of time.

I'm sad to say we got no pictures on the first day {what's up with that?!}. It's too bad too, because I really liked my "cruise themed" outfit. No, I'm not being conceited, just confident.

But basically, the first day we just explored the boat, went to a couple shows, and enjoyed the amazing food! Dinner = delish!

Cruise Day #2 -- Ship Day

The first full day on the boat was labeled "Fun at Sea." And fun it was! We quickly found our favorite spot on the boat. They had a bunch of these futon type chairs that were cushioned with lots of pillows. They were perfect for cuddling and enjoying the warm weather on the second to highest level at the very front of the ship. We loved them. So we enjoyed {virgin} pina coladas while listening to some tunes and reading magazines. Okay, I was the only one reading magazines. But, hey.

Also, the first afternoon I went to a seminar in the ship's gym. It was titled "Secrets to a Flatter Stomach." YES! Exactly what I needed {especially after the week of yummy food...}. The guy had some great advice and great tips! A lot of what he said reflected Natalia Rose's thoughts in Raw Food Life Force Energy, a book I read the week before the cruise (and highly recommend). He just put it much differently than her. It was some good information.

The first night was also elegant dinner, meaning we got to dress up. But, the cute "cocktail" type dress I got for this wouldn't zip up. And by that I don't mean it was too small on me, I mean the zipper broke. Just split open. I was devastated. Especially since the night before we left, when I tried it on one last time before packing it, it was fine. Ugh. I was mad, to say the least. But oh well! At least I had other clothes.

And, of course, one of my favorite parts of the cruises, the towel shapes with dinner mints. Here is our dog. Isn't he so cute?!
