Just Me and My Boy

Last week Jess and I went on a cruise.

It was so much fun.

I can't wait to share pictures and our experiences.

{And catch up on the past five months...}

But yes, we left the baby at home with my parents.

And that was SO hard.

I couldn't stop thinking about him.

And by the end, all I wanted to do was come home to be with him.

So today, my first day back with him, I accomplished nothing.

Nothing, that is, except spend quality time with my precious son.

We cuddled.

We laughed.

We played games.

We napped.

So even though my bags didn't get unpacked and the laundry is still in piles on the floor...

I'm totally okay with that.

Because there is no greater job than being a mom.

And in my opinion, my day was VERY productive.

And, c'mon, who wouldn't want to spend all day playing with this little man?!

I love my boy!
