Random Thoughts and Something New

1. Today in Relief Society we talked about something that got me to thinking. We discussed what it means to see the face of God. A quote from Les Miserables says, "To love another person is to see the face of God." I LOVE this quote (and this play, might I add). As we got into deeper conversation, we discussed that to see the face of God is to see the good in everyone. To see them the way that He would. To recognize that each and every person is a child of God, with the potential to become like Him. It really got me to thinking about how I view people. I could be better at this.

2. From the last post, about my cousin Courtney, some of you mentioned interest in buying her CD. If you are really interested, or if anyone else is, I got a couple from her mom. So if you want one, you can e-mail me {jessesgirlblog@gmail.com} and find a way to meet up. I can always get more as well. They are $10.

3. I know I haven't posted for the past couple of days...and here is why. I've been working on a little something new. A new blog! I love blogging about fun things like tips, crafts, decor, etc. But I didn't like having them all on this blog. I wanted this to be more of a personal blog, like a journal of sorts. Something I could look back on, read, and remember all my memories. So I started a new blog for all the "fun" stuff! This blog will still have random thoughts, lessons learned, be the best you can be, inspirational thoughts, and updates on me, Jess, Mr. Nash, and Baby Ryan. But it will be more focused on my inner monologue and life. The new blog, Polka Dot Lane, will center around everything girl. Stop on by to check it out.
