I Need Your Help

I'm going to put up a list of inquiries...and you all are going to answer.

1) My hands are REALLY dry. Anyone got something good to recommend to help them? It's itchy/painful and regular lotion isn't doing anything right about now. I have some other ideas, but I figured I'd see what others recommend.

2) I'm starting to work on Ryan's nursery. I've been searching for cute crib bedding, and I'm not having a ton of luck. Does anyone know of someone who makes it? Like if I pick out fabric...they'll make the stuff?

3) Who knows of cute blogs/websites that sell cute baby boy stuff? I'm not having much luck finding stuff.

4) Where are some good places to get baby furniture? I found one place I really like (I fell in LOVE with this set--crib and other piece). But Jess and I wanna look around some more before we buy. Any ideas would be appreciated.

5) Since my mother-in-law is leaving to Argentina at the end of June (Did I ever mention that? My father-in-law got called as a mission president. So they are heading out to Argentina for 3 years.) we decided to have my baby shower before she goes. If any of you bloggy friends want an invite...you are more than welcome to come! It'd be a great time to meet you all! Just send me your address.

  1. Coconut Oil is the best for lotion...it feels a little oily for a minute but soaks right in to the skin and no longer feels oily.

I went to Crismons baby boutique on University to get my crib. They have some cute clothes sometimes too.

I want an invite to your shower and I want to help do something for it too!!!

We are all well again at our house so we need to go out :)

  11. Hello! I'm kinda in the same boat as you as far as a nursery because we never got one done for Brandom since we are moving! I swear it is much more difficult to find cute boy stuff. I had no problem with Audrey.
Have you checked bedding at Pottery Barn? Sometimes they have cute stuff for boys, but I haven't checked recently.
Let me know if you find a good place.

  14. I heard bye bye baby in Chandler is AWESOME! I haven't been there, but my friend talks about that place all the time! I just sold all Rykers clothes that he has grown out of otherwise I would have let you checked them out! Good luck! Having a Boy is soooo much fun!

  15. I think it's called Udderly Smooth. You can get it at WalMart. My hands get so dry they crack and bleed. This stuff is A.MA.ZING.

Someone mentioned Coconut Oil. I love that stuff too. It's the best as a before bed moisturizer. It reduces/prevents wrinkles and even helps get rid of zits because it's a natural antibiotic or something like that. It makes your face glow. Awesome.

As for cute boy stuff... There isn't really any such thing. lol. No, there is, but good luck finding it. :)

  16. Hey Britney - I know it's so random for me to comment on here, but your blog is adorable and I hear updates about April, your mom and you through Tracie.

If you're still looking for somebody to make a crib set, let me know - sewing is my new addiction and I could definitely do a custom set for you! I recently made a new cover, sheets and stuff for a girly bassinet for my friend's new baby and it was so much fun! I've been wanting to do some more crib stuff and thought about selling it on etsy or something... I can't get enough of making cute things!!

Anyway, you can email me at caminuttall@msn.com or call or text at 9288997684 if you're interested at all :o)

Congrats on your cute little family in progress!! And tell your sweet mom I said hello!!
