Happy Things for Today:
No homework
I went to Sweet Cakes and ate yummy soup and cookies!
I took my GORGEOUS temple pic in to get custom framed.
I browsed Domestic Bliss and coveted all the things I want. (I know, sinner...)
I get to spend all day tomorrow with the Hubby.
And now for my awesome question:
1) I got a sewing machine for Christmas.
2) I have NO idea how to use it.
3) I really wanna learn to sew.
4) Does anyone know of somewhere I can take classes?
Happy Weekend!

Wow! You made it home and blogged quick!!
ReplyDeleteI just read the "about us" section on your blog and It totally made me crack up. Baby G and Nash sure sound like some characters not to mention that husband of yours!

Have a FuNderful w/e. See ya tomorrow in that spandex!!
I really want to learn how to sew too! Do you have a Joann's Fabrics closeby? They have sewing classes.

ReplyDeleteoh! and i got your email. i'll reply soon...but my baby is screaming....gotta go get her....
oh my gosh i learned to sew from my mommy, but i took classes from a woman who lives by westwood. but, that was like 2 years ago i don't know if she still teaches. joanns does i know that!
ReplyDeletelol... I thought I was the only girl in the world who didn't know how to use a sewing machine. I got one for Valentines Day (hubby is not in dog house for that, I asked for one) and I have no clue how to use it. I guess a sewing class would be a good idea. Now if only I had time... and a babysitter. :( Take the class BEFORE the baby comes!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Fridays because my hubby and I get to do date night....No kids! As for sewing.... no help here!
ReplyDeleteOk I don't know if you have heard of the blog Ruffles and Stuff, but it's awesome for learning the know how of sewing. She has the cutest tutorials for sewing clothes, but she also has just recently put up a bunch of posts for those who are learning how to sew. here is the link:

Hey Britney,
ReplyDeleteI've only just had a chance to update myself on your blog! Slack.
If you can wait until September when dal and I move back, then I would love to have you come over and learn sewing. But you probably want to get going so you can have lots of cute little things before baby comes along.
xx
