Today Jess and I went to Toys R Us.
Yes. We seriously did.
And no...we weren't going shopping for our nieces and nephews.
We went for ourselves.
We even had a sword fight in the aisles, almost bought them to bring home, decided against it and then regretted that decision later.
sword fights = pure awesomeness.
I'm not even kidding.
You should try it sometime.
What did we walk out with?
Well...Jess got a book called "The Diary of the Wimpy Kid" or something like that.
As for me...I got a Strawberry Shortcake coloring book.
400 pages of pure bliss.
I created three masterpieces tonight.
Oh yes...I LOVE coloring.
:)
And so should you.
I may act like a child sometimes -- and that's okay.
It's soooo worth it.

I cannot even wait to show Ashlyn this post! She is going to be all smiles...she just learned to LOVE coloring :) She never liked to sit that long before but as of her first day in kindergarten she is all about 'doing your best work'... so maybe we could have a girls coloring night! Ashlyn was so sad that she missed Primary today because YOU were teaching the lesson. Maybe we should do FHE together tomorrow and YOU have the lesson!!! And then we should go back to Toys R Us and buy those swords...that could be some seriously fun times... I think I could just sit back and watch Jesse and Bryant go at it--haha! I NEVER ramble on other peoples blogs but for some reason I just go on and on when it comes to yours....sorry! Have a great night! oh yah and good luck with your first day of school.

Sometimes I want to play Jacks or play in the sandbox and dig long deep holes that only my arm can fit in. But I don't do those things anymore. hmmmmmm I still like to read Dr Seuss books. Does that count?
