Profundity (n.)

1. the quality or state of being profound; depth
2. Usually profundities, profound or deep matters

Usage: The profundity of Dante and Machiavelli intrigues me.

I don't know why but this word caught my eye. I think I'm going to attempt using it in conversation tomorrow. Hmm...just a thought.
